Have you heard? Woodhaven adopts “grandparents”!
About half a dozen men and women in our Community Integration program have developed relationships with residents of South Hampton Place, a local nursing home. Each person served by Woodhaven is paired with a South Hampton Place resident who does not have family. Their monthly visits allow the people served by Woodhaven to benefit from the experience of an older generation, and give them the joy of brightening someone’s day.
