Bell Choir Makes an Appearance at Candlelight Lodge

On a chilly December day, the Adaptive and Senior Bell Choirs teamed up to bring an afternoon of laughter and Christmas music to the residents at Candlelight Lodge. Decorated in festive sweaters, funky hats and bright smiles, each member of the choir welcomed the residents warmly as the program began.

Friends of Woodhaven Show Their Support at Fall Fundraiser

Fall is a busy time for all of us here at Woodhaven as we get ready for the Fall Fundraising Dinner & Silent Auction. We’ve spent the past couple of months preparing for the dinner, working with our awesome table hosts, creating all of the fun favors with the individuals we support, and working with businesses and friends in the community to find bid-worthy items for our silent auction.

Community Connections Program takes a trip to Hannibal

Each month, we organize at least one day trip through the Community Connections program. We try to make it a different place and type of activity each time, to give the adults we support a greater sampling of what other communities have to offer.

Aktion Club Installs New Officers

On August 16, we were delighted to attend the Aktion Club Installation Dinner with several of the individuals we support and congratulate them as they were installed as officers for the 2011-2012 year. Members from three of the five Kiwanis Clubs here in Columbia joined us in celebrating the installation.
