Every year, it is our extreme pleasure to organize a Christmas party for the individuals we serve. There is nothing that brings us greater joy than getting to do something for them that really makes their day, especially when it gives them memories they’ll treasure for years to come.

Because of budget cuts, we have always been very limited on what we can afford to do for the people we serve, and this year was no different. As we started to prepare for the party, the tight budget we were faced with forced us to find creative ways to make everything come together.

We have been incredibly blessed this year by the generosity of our friends in the community, their support made it possible for us to give the individuals we support a fantastic night out with their friends.

We are so grateful to the Columbia Cosmopolitan Club who donated the use of the Columbia Cosmopolitan Community Center for the party and to all of the others who chipped in to help us get gifts for the individuals we serve. Because of the overwhelming support we received from amazing community partners and the Woodhaven family, this year’s Christmas party was an overwhelming success.

Thanks again to all of the local businesses who helped make the night so magical: Bob Evans(catering), McDonald’s of Mid-Missouri(donated gifts), S&S DJ Solutions(musical entertainment) and to the Columbia Cosmopolitan Club for donating the use of the community center. We also want to thank all of the people who donated gift cards for the individuals we serve and our amazing staff who spent the afternoon and evening making sure everything went smoothly.
